Every person’s life is amazing and unpredictable. Sometimes it is impossible to imagine what surprises fate prepared for us, where the road of life leads and what waits us in next turn. We interviewed a Russian model, Kristina Kushnerova, whose life is full of new projects and cooperation. We managed to find out what plans Kristina has for the next year and what motivated her to move.

M.D.:Kristina, your modeling career started from the very heart of the fashion industry - Milan, everyone dreams about it. Scout has directly led you into this business. How did this happen?
K.K.: I believe that accidents are not accidental. Sometimes you find yourself in the right place at the right time. That’s exactly what happened to me. I visited the exhibition of the famous artist together with my parents. At that moment, when I was looking at interesting pictures, a scout approached me and offered to try myself in the modeling business. As my mother was near, we discussed cooperation together.

M.D.: What were the first steps on the way to a successful career? You were very young, and I do not know much about the life of models. What were the difficulties at that time?
K.K.: From the childhood I was told: «You are beautiful, you only have to go to the model business». And somewhere subconsciously I formed this image. Therefore, when the opportunity arose, I realized that this was my chance. The first stage was training in a model school, where I was dedicated to all the subtleties of model business. Soon the maximum of effort, time and labor, have given the result.

M.D.: Did not think that maybe if it was not for a change of residence and moving to Italy, would your life have developed quite differently?
K.K.: I’m not one to rush into fate. Yes, I believe in coincidences, but still prefer to control my life myself. Since childhood, I had a clear plan for my life, study, career and family. Unfortunately, we are not always able to influence events. But when a person has certain goals and desires, he will necessarily reach them, whatever it worthies.

M.D.: Life in Sardinia and in Moscow is so polar. What is still closer to you, because studying in Moscow was your conscious choice.
K.K.: These two polar cities are like the two halves of me. One rebellious, calm, and the other is bursting outward, demanding this insane rhythm of life. I cannot stand in one place. At some point, I realized that I needed to change the situation. And the decision to move to Russia was made immediately.

M.D.: Behind a lot of castings, projects and shootings. You are successful in Europe, but now move to Russia has changed the turns. Do you do modeling business in Moscow?
K.К.: The advantage of the model business is that you will be in demand anywhere in the world if you are real professional in your business. At the moment, this is my main occupation in addition to studies, numerical trainings and seminars on self-development, as well as trainings.

M.D.: What is the difference between modeling in Russia and Italy?
K.К.: I think the first is tough competition. Unreal number of girls from different parts of the world who want to become the next Kate Moss and get on the list of the best top models. In this unrealistic number of projects and advertising campaigns. Not everyone will stand such a schedule, sometimes there are several castings and shooting for the day. In a word, I have an excellent school of life behind me.

M.D.: You are a very versatile person, comprehensively develop. There is a place for sports in your life, yoga, boxing. For sure and eat right?
K.К.:Undoubtedly, proper nutrition is the guarantee of all good - mood, skin, hair, face, well-being. Although I am an opponent of different diets, I try to rid myself of bad habits. Sometimes on holidays in the family circle I cannot refuse the perfectly cooked dishes of my mother.

M.D.: How do you think, what qualities form a strong personality. Do you relate yourself to this category of people?
K.К.:As for me, such qualities as self-confidence, purposefulness, perseverance, responsibility are important. I feel myself a strong person and I am grateful to my parents for this because their unlimited care and support gives me a great incentive.

M.D.: What life principles do you follow?
K.К.: Never give up is my life principle, and always go to my goal. The main thing is to work and do everything possible for this! For me, there is never anything unreal. There are times when your hands go down, and you think: «Well, everything does not work out». But after a while again, thinking about your dream, you go and do something for it. My dream helps me to go up! I know what I want and believe in the best.
